The Final Days!

As our Kickstarter campaign nears its final days, the Hammered Heroes team couldn’t be more excited! It’s been a long journey for us, and your support has made it possible for us to get this game out into the world.

Usually, in a campaign’s final days, we end up getting more eyes on our project on Kickstarter’s site -- being a successful campaign means we might see a nice push at the end. We’re hoping that happens, because that means every pledge goes towards unlocking more stretch goals for you guys!

After all, we’re only $100 away (at this moment) from unlocking the Beerserkers! You guys can’t miss out on this game changing new faction — who wouldn’t want a “Draftula” in their deck to shake things up?

Final Event:

• The Final Drink and Draw: Live! — Tuesday, February 27th - 6PM PST
  This Drink and Draw will have the same amount of drawing, but a lot more drinking. Hammered Heroes team member Adam Boyd will be downing beers for every new pledge. Have an idea for a fantasy character? Suggest it to us on the stream (or message it to us via Facebook right now!), and artist Clancy Bundy will draw it for you that night, live!

Things to keep in mind:

• Celebrate! — You guys are truly heroes, and you deserve to celebrate as much as we’re going to. So grab a pint of your favorite grog and share your celebration with us on social media, you’ve earned it.
  
• Spread the Word! — Let people know we’re nearing the end: this is their last chance to be the first people to get the game! And don’t forget our Social Media Stretch Goals, we can still unlock those before the campaign ends. Many of them are near completion!
  
• Every Dollar Still Counts! — Everything we earn on this Kickstarter goes straight into the game itself! So, as we near the end of our run, every dollar that continues to be pledged, only helps us make this game even more badass for all of you.

Upcoming Events and Stretch Goals!

Hey Heroes!

It’s been a great first half of our campaign, but we can’t wait to see what the back half brings!

The rest of the month will involve us pushing ahead and continuing to get the word out, while also hosting more live events and game nights! Check out some of our upcoming events:

• Kickstarter Live Gameplay — Friday the 16th, at 6:30PM PST

Stretch Goals!

We are only 1,500 away from unlocking our first stretch goal! The Beerserkers are a faction that we think will be an awesome addition to the game, but they can’t join the fray until we hit 12,000!

For us, unlocking stretch goals means we can make our game even more badass for you -- and continuing to go past our initial goal only continues to help us upgrade the game, as well as get the word out to new Kickstarter backers who want to support the campaign!

The Battle is Won!

Our dearest backers,

We are incredibly excited to announce that last night we reached our funding goal of $10,000. And it is all thanks to you.

Because of your support we will now be able to mass-produce Hammered Heroes and get it into the hands of swill slinging gamers everywhere – including you! And so, from the bottom of our grog-soaked hearts, we thank you.

BUT WAIT! The battle is won but there is still more we can do to make our game an even better product for everyone. Do you want to help us make Hammered Heroes even better?!

With more backers and more funding, we can enhance the game and its design and make Hammered Heroes achieve its full potential. Here are a couple of simple things you can do to help us gain even more visibility:

• Tell Your Friends 

We’re 100% funded now, so these games are getting made, guaranteed! So if you have a friend, family member, or local pub or drinking hole you think should have their very own copy of the game, let them know! Any podcasters or game reviewers you think should check us out? Tag them on social media, send them an email, or sound the War Trumpet of the Ancients – whatever way you prefer to spread the word.

• Social Media Stretch Goals 

We’ve got a few cool bonuses we’re offering all of our backers if we meet these stretch goals, so be sure you’ve done these things yourself and then spread the word. We’re already funded, so unlocking these just gets you more cool stuff! 

 

Other than that, we just have one more favor to ask of you: celebrate! Pour yourself a beer, crack open a bottle of champagne, or hell… line up some Jell-o shots. You’ve helped us reach our goal of making this game a reality – you deserve to live it up! Once again, we are grateful for all of your support. Seeing the Finish Line!

We are officially a third of the way through our campaign, and currently sit just shy of 85% funded! With only 15% more to go, our end goal may be in sight, but now is not the time to rest on our laurels -- we can’t get this game out there until we cross that finish line!

• Over the next few weeks we’ll continue to spread the word, and continue to host our “Game Nights” at a local Spokane bar! The next one is on February 17th at Community Pint! Come down and play a few rounds with us and check out the game in person!
  
• Please continue to spread the word as best you can: Give us a shoutout on twitter, toss us up on tumblr, plunge the depths or reddit, or simply tell your neighbor -- your voice helps us more than you could imagine! Plus, sharing us on Facebook and instagram unlocks cool stuff just for doing so!

Also, don’t forget to check out our latest Drink and Draw Live, and be sure to be there for the next one to get your own creature drawn by artist Clancy Bundy!

Fightin' Toward The Goal!

We are starting week two at 77%! Which is a solid number, and all of that is thanks to all of you!

But week two also begins the slow part of any campaign, where most Kickstarters start losing steam and enter that sluggish middle -- and that's the last thing we want to do! We're so close, and not only do we want to make our goal, we want to start unlocking stretch goals to create even cooler stuff for you guys!

Getting the word out is tough, but maybe you heroes know something we don’t!

• What are your go to board game or table top groups on Facebook? As long as you aren’t breaking any rules, feel free to let em know about our little project! A push from a fan speaks far more than a push from a creator!
  
• Are there any breweries or bars that should have a copy of the game hanging around their place? Tell them how they can score a copy on their wall!
  
• Wanna see some on the shelves of your FLGS (Friendly Local Game Store)? We have a tier just for them! So send em a message! Or let us know how we can get the word out!
